Man, 85, dies while trying to reclaim record of world's oldest man to climb Everest

- An 85-year-old man has died while trying to scale Mount Everest
- He previously held the title of world's oldest man to climb the mountain
- However, it was broken by another climber and he was trying to reclaim it
An 85-year-old Nepalese man has passed away while trying to reclaim a record he held previously as the world's oldest man to climb Mount Everest.
It is believed that Min Bahadur Sherchan suffered a suspected heart attack at the world's tallest mountain's base camp on Saturday, May 6.
However, the cause of his death has not been officially confirmed, as results of postmortem tests are still awaited.
